Do I need to be in Johannesburg to work for EF Education First in South Africa?

Yes.

For all positions currently available, it is necessary to work from our offices in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

All functions are performed on-site, providing our team-mates with an established in-house support network for direct on-the-ground assistance.  This ensures that we deliver the highest quality of service to our students, while helping you to engage with colleagues and peers to further expand your TEFL skills and abilities.

What does TEFL stand for?

Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) refers to teaching English to students whose first language is not English.  TEFL teachers may be native or non-native speakers of English.

You may also come across the term TESL or TESOL, which stands for Teaching English to speakers of other languages.
